Review Policy

Type of Books:

I read mostly young adult only, but am open to some adult and middle grade. I am currently interested in:

• Dystopian
• Fantasy
• Retellings
• Sci-Fi

I Don't Review:

Genres that I do not typically read are:

• Religious Titles
• Non-fiction

Book Format:

I will accept physical books such as paperbacks, hardcovers, galleys, and ARCs. As well as e-books and PDFs. However, please be aware that I prefer physical copies since my Kindle occasionally decides not to open my books/docs.

Reviews:

• I will not accept money for book reviews. My book reviews will be completely honest and be my opinion only. If I didn't finish the book, I will be honest and review it as DNF. All reviews will be posted here on the blog, amazon, and goodreads with other sites as requested. I will also send a copy to the publicity agent/publisher. For ARCs, I always try to post ARC reviews at least one week before the release date. If there's a particular time frame for that ARC to be reviewed outside of that one week window, please email me to discuss it so we can work something out and I have adequate time to read it. 

REVIEW FORMAT

All of my reviews will contain:

• title
• cover artwork
• page number
• author(s)
• publisher
• what format of the book I read
• how I attained the book (only if it's an ARC)
• summary
• non-spoilery review
• rating
• overall thoughts
• goodreads links to both the authors and the book

Rating System:

My rating system is loosely based on that of Goodreads. I rate out of 5 stars.

5 Stars-- It was amazing!

4 Stars-- I really liked it!

3 Stars-- I liked it.

2 Stars-- It was okay.

1 Stars-- I really did not like it.

A did not finish (DNF) review will contain a rating based on the parts that I did read.
